The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has recognized Providence Homes with a 2016 ENERGY STAR® Partner of the Year – New Home Builder Award for its outstanding efforts to bring energy-efficient homes to market. Providence Homes’ accomplishments will be recognized in Washington, D.C. on April 13, 2016. This is the second year in a row Providence Homes has been recognized as Partner of the Year and one of 5 home builders nationally to receive this award.

“Demonstrating a strong commitment to building energy-efficient homes, Providence Homes has reaffirmed its reputation as a company that saves the American homebuyer energy and money,” said EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy. “This award recognizes Providence Homes as a leader in building ENERGY STAR® certified homes while reducing our nation’s greenhouse gas emissions that contribute to climate change.”

Since becoming an Energy Star partner in 2009, Providence Homes has built more than 900 Energy Star Homes for families’ right here in Jacksonville. ENERGY STAR certified homes can expect up to 30 percent less energy costs than a typical new code built home.
