Providence Homes was commended for building 192 ENERGY STAR\u00ae certified homes in 2014, which is equivalent to reducing CO2 emissions by 324 metric tons, or:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Growing 8,256 tree seedlings for 10 years<\/li>\n<li>Avoiding the consumption of 754 barrels of oil<\/li>\n<li>Removing 68 passenger vehicles from the road<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Each year, ENERGY STAR\u00ae New Homes presents Market Leader Awards to outstanding partners who have made important contributions to energy\u2013efficient construction and environmental protection by building or verifying an outstanding number of ENERGY STAR\u00ae Certified Homes during the previous year.
