JACKSONVILLE, FL –
Providence Homes, a leading provider of quality new
homes in the Northeast Florida area, would like to
recognize Southern Scapes as the Trade Partner of the
Quarter.
In order to acknowledge, reward, and thank the trade
partners they work with, Providence Homes created the
Trade Partner of the Quarter award. Companies are nominated
for the award by the construction staff at Providence
Homes who submit two companies that have gone above
and beyond in the field. Once all of the nominations
are in, other employees of Providence Homes then review
the nominations and select a winner. In
return, the winner is given a Trade Partner of the
Quarter plaque and either Trade Partner of the Quarter
t-shirts or lunch for their entire company.
Jeff MacGregor and Bill Hamilton started Southern
Scapes in 1997 as a small contractor with only a few
employees. Since opening, Southern Scapes, has
grown tremendously and now has a total of 35 full time
employees serving most of North Florida including,
Duval, St. John’s, and Nassau Counties. Working
mainly in contracted construction landscape, Southern
Scapes has an in-house design and installation center
where unique landscape designs are crafted.
Southern Scapes was one of the trade partners that
worked with Providence Homes in building the 2005-06
Northeast Florida Builders Association Builders Care “Home
From The Heart” house. Along with
other companies, Southern Scapes generously donated
time, effort, and materials to help keep the home's
actual building cost at a minimum. Once sold, all of
the proceeds from the home will go directly towards
NEFBA Builders Care, a non-profit organization that
aids local First Coast elderly, disabled, and disadvantaged
citizens that cannot afford construction services by
traditional means.
Always lending a helping hand and going above and
beyond in the field has earned Southern Scapes the
Providence Homes Trade Partner of the Quarter award.
