We buy things everyday! However, buying a home is completely different (especially in an economy like this). There is a ton of information out there that might confuse a first-time homebuyer like me. My wife and I did a lot of research and consulted realtors, friends and relatives for advice before agreeing to build with Providence. We were glad we did! Providence exceeded our expectations. In particular, two individuals from Providence (Mark Schirmer and James Toon) went above and beyond to build us the home we wanted. They made themselves available to work with us and advise us as needed during the building process. They interacted with us in a highly professional manner and made the time to listen to our opinions and ideas. When we requested that something be corrected, they did so with a smile and followed up with us to make sure it was exactly what we wanted. They even kept in touch with us after we closed on the house to make sure we are happy and everything is well with the house. Providence does not just build homes, they create unforgettable friendships. We were truly impressed by our experience with Providence and have recommended Providence as a builder to other people, including my brother-in law who recently closed on his house at Greenland Chase. In this Thanksgiving season, we thank God and count our blessings, especially for our beautiful home. Also, we appreciate Mark and J.T. and the rest of the Providence team that made the building of our home such a wonderful experience!

We love our new home! The team at Providence Homes worked to make the process as simple and straightforward as possible. They provided a detailed manual showing what to expect at each step of the journey, and there was always someone available to answer any questions we might have. It was exciting to go through the planning process with knowledgeable professionals. I never had a moment of doubt and their friendly yet professional manner of approaching any subject instilled a degree of confidence that was noteworthy.
We continue to be pleased by the details that are included in our home. As an Engineer, this demonstrates to me the high caliber of the designers, as well as the high level of attention to detail paid by the builder. As we enter the Holiday season, we look forward to creating lasting memories in our new home!

It was just about a year ago that President Obama announced a stimulus plan to help out first time homebuyers. My girlfriend and I were so excited we started shopping for a new home. We looked for weeks and thought that it was just not meant to be. The homes were either too pricey, in the wrong location, very small or just didn’t feel like home. We gave up our search and continued on with our lives. A couple of months later Rachel, my girlfriend, took a trip to Israel, where she played Volleyball in the Maccabi games. While she was gone I decided to take a browse through some local neighborhoods. There it was Greenland Chase, kids were playing, dogs were being walked, and lawns were being cut; it was the American dream. The homes were designed differently from any other community I had seen in Jacksonville. The stone accents and varying home designs really made every home feel unique. When my girlfriend returned we took a trip to Greenland Chase. Absolutely floored by its beauty and uniqueness we decided if we were going to buy this would be the place. Andrea, our Greenland Chase Sales Associate simplified the process of buying a new home and walked us thru each step. Andrea responded to every question and made sure our request were met. The building team was great. We visited the home site everyday and the construction crew was always willing and excited to inform us of the building process.

I would like to share with you my experience concerning the process of building my new home in Greenland Chase. My first encounter was with Gen O’Dell who took as much time as I needed to show me my options. I explained to Gen that although I was interested, I was not able to buy until I sold my present home. Gen was understanding and kind. She did not make me feel as if I had wasted her time. It was because of my initial encounter with Gen that I did put my house on the market and returned to Gen when I was ready to buy and build in Greenland Chase.
The other person I had multiple encounters with was Donna Stanton. She is a master decorator. She has the art as well as the heart to find the taste of the client and work with them. Donna really cares that you not just like, but love your new home. She exudes caring and professionalism.
With any large project, there are snags. I experienced very few. When I did encounter an issue, I was not hesitant to call Gen or Donna who did not hesitate to find the answers and resolve the issues.
My experience from the time I signed on the dotted line to build, until the day I closed, I felt like I had the Providence family in my corner. I would like to thank every one of them for making the process a professional team approach.
Just as important, I felt as if I was an active part of that team.

Every experience that we have had with Providence has been outstanding, everyone has been very professional and has done everything that they could to help us with any need that we have had. You were such a pleasure to work with and made our purchase very smooth, we can't thank you enough.
The only thing that I can't praise so much is my golf game...I wish I was as happy with it as I am the house...ha.
I tell people all the time how we love our new neighborhood and how they should look here is they are interested in a new home.
