JACKSONVILLE, FL –
Providence Homes is nearly sold out in Shirley Oaks,
a community located in North Jacksonville. This fast-selling
single-family home community offers homes priced from
the low $140s to the mid-$200s.
Of Providence Homes' original 35 lots, only six are
left. "We began selling at the end of August and
these homes have been going fast," said Debbie
Gilbert, site agent for Providence Homes in Shirley
Oaks. "People love this
neighborhood. We'll be out of here way ahead of schedule."
Providence Homes began pre-selling Shirley Oaks from
their Marshwinds model center. The area has been so
popular, it nearly sold out before the model was finished.
The model, a Parade of Homes entry, is the Panama floor
plan with 2282 square feet, 3-bedroom, two-and-a half-baths
with plenty of living space for growing families. The
Panama offers formal living and dining rooms, and a
family room. "It's a two-story home, and it has
a loft upstairs that you can use as a fourth bedroom
or an office or a playroom," Gilbert said. "The
options are endless."
The model also includes a covered lanai. "It's
on a beautiful lake lot," she said. "So, you'll
have lovely views of the lake from the family room,
the owners' suite, and the upstairs bedrooms and the
loft."
The airport is 15 minutes away in one direction; Regency
Square is 15 minutes in the other. Downtown is a 20-minute
drive, and local grocery stores and restaurants are
less than a mile away. "You can't find a better
value, especially since we're so convenient to grocery
stores, shopping, work and schools," she said.
"People are flocking to this area of town because
you're in a very peaceful setting, and you have plenty
of room to live."
Conservation, lake and heavily treed lots are still
available; average lot sizes are 80 feet by 110 feet.
"It's a beautiful community in the Dames Point
area," Gilbert said. "The natural scenery
is outstanding." Providence Homes offers a wide
range of floor plans and prices in the picturesque community
starting with the Augustine at $146,940. The 1777-square-foot,
three-bedroom, two-bathroom home has everything families
are looking for, from roominess to affordability. "It
has a great family room, plus formal living and dining
rooms," said Gilbert. "The kitchen has 10
foot ceilings; it's very spacious, especially since
it opens to the large breakfast nook."
As Providence Homes celebrates their Eleventh Anniversary,
Bill Cellar continues to build upon the philosophy that
homeowners deserve the best he can give. The team of
professionals at Providence Homes is committed to building
every home as if they were building it for their own
family. That degree of care has earned Providence Homes
an excellent reputation among Realtors and homeowners.
