Woburn, Ma. – May 18, 2011 – Providence Homes has selected Kova Solutions as their financial and operational management solution. The Jacksonville, FL-based production builder serves the entry and move-up market.
Providence Homes contracted with Kova Solutions to develop a unique, interactive web-based experience for prospective homeowners that guides them through product and community options including plotting their home, selecting their home site, choosing their home’s color scheme, picking their elevation and determining which options they would like. All from the convenience of their home computer. When the home buyers complete their choices, they can save their options and print a brochure directly from their computer to take to the sales office where a sales representative has already been assigned to them.
According to industry trade publication, Builder Magazine, Providence Homes ranks as the 133 largest home builder in 2010, with 151 total closings. The company focuses on delivering energy-efficient housing to the first-time homebuyer market puts it on the front edge of the excellence in home builders. Its partnership with Kova Solutions will allow it to retain even tighter control on its sales and production processes to deliver even more value for home buyers.

The accounting integration, which is designed by Kova and SBS Group Denver — a Microsoft Partner specializing in construction — identifies all touch points and provides two-way communication between the office and the field, eliminating redundant data entry and providing superior reporting and multi-company functionality.
Upon home completion and customer move-in, Kova Customer Service module helps the homebuilder manage service requests from homeowners, service orders for getting service work done, scheduling of service calls and costing and payment of service orders.
