JACKSONVILLE, FL –
Providence Homes recorded its best first quarter sales
results in the company's ten year history, with 49 sales
they posted an 88% increase over the same period last
year. They also closed 25 homes in the first quarter,
a
79% increase over last year. Company leaders anticipate
continued and sustained growth over the course of the
year.
The increase in sales and the additional staff at Providence
Homes has prompted them to move into larger offices.
The new office is located at 4901 Belfort Road, Suite
102, Jacksonville, FL 32256. The new office will house
the administrative staff, construction team and the
staff of Providence Realty, Providence Homes' in-house
Sales and Marketing Department.
"The first quarter sales results clearly show
that Providence Homes is going in the right direction,"
said Bill Cellar, President and CEO of Providence Homes.
"We have worked hard to stick to our business plan
and our focus on
the customer and each family's needs will allow us to
continue with this pattern of growth."
Additionally, Providence Homes was able to close more
homes during the first quarter due to the large increase
in requests for new homes and an upward trend in fourth
quarter sales in 2001. Average home sales were $191,000.
Providence Homes' record first-quarter sales were driven
in part by the builder's innovation in new home plans,
as well as the team's commitment to customer satisfaction.
The Jacksonville-based company is currently building
award-winning homes in 11 communities on the First Coast.
